  The dentist was very helpful and professional. I can't say the same thing for one of the receptionists. I don't think she was wearing a badge with her name as I've checked. She was sitting at the desk on the right when you're facing the reception, with a dark fringe hairstyle and northern accent. The lady came a cross as not very polite and a bit rude even. I can't say she was friendly at all. The way she was talking to me made me feel really unwelcome and uncomfortable, on top of the fact I was there for an emergency appointment and it was my first time at that clinic. She was even rude to her collegues, interupting one of them while he was talking with patients and not even apologizing. Her tone of her voice and the sharpness is not appropriate for the type of job she's got. Anyone who brings their own problems to work can pull off a sadistic style of enquiry and play on people who are uncertain and she felt she needed to make me feel stupid for not being sure whether my recently rented property was in Hove or Brighton, despite the fact I told her the postcode and I thought Brighton and Hove is the name of the City anyway?! When asked if I needed to get back into the queue I had originally joined, after being told politely by her male colleague that I had a form to fill in, she again felt the need to break down communication so that it sounded like I was being stupid - 'which one?!' - a question that was both irrelevant (as each queue was for the same thing) and was delivered in a raised and condescending tone of voice. This experience at reception utterly overshadowed the fact that I received perfect care and am now feeling much better. It is also worth mentioning I was 6 months pregnant at the time, something that I don't expect to entitle me to special treatment but am unprepared for such a manner from a stranger, especially one working in the front-line of patient care.

  I would highly recommend this dental practice.... our dentist is really nice, very professional and the children always feel comfortable as he puts them at ease. Also very reasonable and don't feel like they're always trying to push you into having something done that you don't need (which had been my experience elsewhere.
